A calm, caring home where pets are treated like family

Topend Pet Minders is a family-run, boutique pet care service based on our rural property in Virginia, just 20 minutes from Darwin City.

Our home is not a facility or a kennel — it’s where we live, care for our own animals, and welcome a small number of pets into our family at any one time. By keeping our service intentionally limited, we’re able to provide calm, personalised care in a safe, relaxed environment.

Our Home

Our rural property offers space, shade and quiet — the perfect setting for pets who thrive away from busy, high-stress environments.

Our property features:

  • A fully fenced and secure environment

  • A large outdoor play enclosure with a two-point entry system

  • Shaded areas under large trees for rest and relaxation

  • A waterproof dog cabin with a deck for larger dogs

  • A calm, home-based environment with constant supervision

Smaller dogs stay inside our home with me and my family, enjoying close companionship, comfort and routine.

Meet Our Animal Family

Your pet will be sharing our space with our own well-loved animals:

  • Joey – our gentle Border Collie

  • Vegas – our playful Pomeranian

  • Cat – our confident (and very much in charge) cat

  • Daisy & Maple – our curious twin goats

All introductions are carefully managed, and compatibility is always considered to ensure a safe and positive experience for every pet.
