At Topend Pet Minders, we offer personalised pet care in a calm, home-based environment on our rural Virginia property, just 20 minutes from Darwin City.

We intentionally care for only a limited number of pets at any one time so every animal receives the attention, supervision, and comfort they deserve — never cages, never overcrowding, and never a kennel-style setup.

Daycare

Pet Hosting

Overnight care in a home — not a kennel

Pet hosting offers overnight stays on our rural family property, providing a relaxed and familiar environment for your pet while you’re away.

Pet hosting includes:

  • Comfortable sleeping arrangements

  • Daily supervised play and rest

  • Swimming, shade, and relaxation options

  • A settled night routine in a calm environment

Larger dogs enjoy access to our secure outdoor enclosure and dog cabin, while smaller dogs stay inside our home with the family.

In-Home Visits

Care provided in your pet’s own home

For pets who prefer familiar surroundings, we offer in-home visits tailored to your pet’s routine.

In-home visits may include:

  • Feeding and fresh water

  • Companionship and check-ins

  • Basic care and wellbeing checks

  • Peace of mind while you’re away

What to Know Before Booking

To ensure the safety of all pets and our family:

  • A mandatory meet and greet is required before bookings

  • Pets must be fully vaccinated (proof required)

  • A completed Pet Information Form must be submitted prior to the meet and greet
