Our pet hosting service offers a calm, comfortable alternative to traditional boarding facilities. Pets stay on our rural Virginia property in a family-run, home-based environment, with personalised care and plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at home.

We host only a limited number of pets at any one time, ensuring a low-stress experience with individual attention and supervision.

Larger dogs have access to our secure outdoor play enclosure and waterproof dog cabin with a deck, while smaller dogs stay inside our family home, enjoying close companionship with us.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

• Drop-off and pick-up times for pet hosting are arranged in advance.

• We work with you to ensure smooth transitions that are calm and safe for all pets.

• Extensions to stays are subject to availability.

Supervision & Family-Based Care

Topend Pet Minders operates a family-based care model, not a commercial boarding facility.

• Pets are supervised for the majority of the day.

• There may be short periods where pets are not under direct supervision, such as during school drop-off and pick-up times.

• During these times, pets are safely contained within secure areas of the property.

Small group sizes and careful matching help ensure a safe and relaxed environment.

Health, Safety & Veterinary Care

• All pets must be fully vaccinated, with proof provided prior to booking.

• A mandatory meet and greet is required to ensure suitability.

• A completed Pet Information Form must be submitted before the meet and greet.

If veterinary care is required, pets will attend Ark Animal Hospital or the nearest available veterinarian, and owners will be contacted immediately.
